Here we are again for another episode of Margarita Monday! Just a couple blocks from the Pearl we settle in on the patio at Tacos and Tequila. Obviously known for their tacos and tequila we felt like we would be right at home. To get things started we had the house on the rocks which was good at 4 out of 5 limes. ‘Tis the season so one of our more adventurous regulars tried the Pumpkin Spice Rita at 3.5 out of 5. Over all we definitely approve of Tacos & Tequila and we think you will too!

Welcome back to Margarita Mondays! It’s been a while since we have been able to come together and sip on some cold margaritas. Rest assured that we are coming back in full swing! This month we sit on the patio at El Jarro off Bitters Rd. Now if you grab a table inside you will see why the food here is so good. Everything is homemade. producing what seems like endless amounts of tortillas are rolled and pressed constantly right in the middle of the dining area. One thing is for sure when you come to El Jarro come hungry.

This week we are downtown at La Mansion’s Las Canaries! Normally when you find us here it would be a weekend morning and that wouldn’t be a margarita in our hands but bottomless mimosas during their amazing brunch. This month for Margarita Monday we’ve come to try the Margaritas and dinner menu. The food here is outstanding and the Margaritas follow suit. At 5 out of 5 limes you really can’t go wrong at Las Canarias.

This February marks another anniversary for San Antonio’s original Margarita Monday! The 22nd is national Margarita Day and three years ago a small group of Margarita connoisseur’s set out to guide our viewers through the mediocre to the best ‘Rita in SA. Now years later we are still on that path. This week we step out of the normal cantinas and into a local fish joint that dabbles into some tasty margaritas. The original is out in Clear Springs Tx. just outside New Braunfels and worth the drive.
